- 2 cups milk π₯
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese π§
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese π§
- 6 slices of bread, cubed π
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder π§
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder π§
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika πΆοΈ
- Salt and pepper to taste π§
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease and spread over the bread cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top.
- Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) the next morning. Remove the casserole from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Bake the casserole uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
