Delicious smash burgers topped with a flavorful house sauce, perfect for a casual dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into 4 equal balls.
  3. Place each ball on the skillet and smash it down with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 3 minutes, then flip the burgers and add cheese. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. While the burgers are cooking, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and garlic powder in a bowl to make the house sauce.
  7. Toast the buns on the skillet until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers by spreading house sauce on both sides of the bun and placing the burger patty inside.
  9. Serve hot.
