- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage and lean ground beef for 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste into the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rigatoni, meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix gently.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
