Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan by greasing and flouring it.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy, then add the vegetable oil and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the chopped apples into the wet mixture.

  6. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top.
