Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup nonfat plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method

  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients for the Peach Smoothie. In a high-powered blender, add the unsweetened almond milk, followed by the nonfat plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, then the frozen peaches and banana slices.
  2. Cover the blender and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste your Peach Smoothie and add honey according to your preference, then blend again for an additional 10-15 seconds.
  4. If desired, add a handful of ice cubes and blend on high for another 20-30 seconds for a thicker texture.
  5. Pour into your favorite glass and garnish with ground cinnamon or extra peach slices. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Fruits First: Always add your liquids before the fruit in the blender for optimal blending.
  • Frozen is Best: Use frozen fruits for creaminess without needing ice.
  • Taste Test: Adjust sweetness with additional honey after blending.
  • Customize Wisely: Be cautious with adding other fruits to avoid overpowering peach flavor.
  • Vegan Version: Use extra frozen fruit in place of yogurt for a vegan option.
