  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg acts as binder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce homemade or store-bought
  • ¼ cup honey for sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for preventing sticking

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Beat the egg in a small bowl to create an egg wash.
  4. Toss chicken in flour mixture, coat in egg wash, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Whisk together BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl.
  7. Spray air fryer basket with olive oil.
  8. Arrange chicken in a single layer in basket.
  9. Air fry chicken at 380°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  10. Toss hot chicken bites in BBQ sauce and serve warm.
