Preparation
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until well blended, then heat in a saucepan for about five minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, waiting until it shimmers.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook undisturbed for about four minutes.
- Gently flip the salmon and brush half of the glaze on top. Cook for another three to four minutes until salmon reaches 145°F.
- Drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon after cooking.
- Serve immediately garnished with chopped green onions.
