Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry to about ¼ inch thick and cut into 4-inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square and top with sliced strawberries.
- Fold and seal each pastry square securely to keep the filling contained.
- Whisk together egg and milk, then brush the egg wash over the tops of each sealed Danish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving warm.
