For the Croissants
  • 4 pieces Large croissants
  • 8 slices Cooked ham of your favorite type
  • 8 slices Cheese Swiss, cheddar, or your choice
For the Extras
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard optional
  • 1 tablespoon Melted butter
  • Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Carefully slice each croissant in half lengthwise to create a pocket.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
  4. Layer 2 slices of cooked ham on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Top each ham layer with 2 slices of your chosen cheese.
  6. Fold the top half of each croissant back down to encase the filling.
  7. Lightly brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter.
  8. Arrange the filled croissants in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  9. Cook the croissants in the air fryer for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Carefully remove the croissants and let them cool slightly before serving.
  11. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
