Step-by-Step Instructions for Caprese Crostini
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and freeze the mozzarella for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice the baguette diagonally into pieces about ½ inch thick.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the baguette slices and toss to coat.
  4. Bake the slices for 8 to 9 minutes until golden.
  5. Shape the mozzarella into ghosts using a cookie cutter.
  6. Spread pesto over each baguette slice.
  7. Top with a slice of tomato and the mozzarella ghost.
  8. Decorate the mozzarella with balsamic glaze to create ghost faces.
  9. For remaining crostini, sprinkle with mozzarella scraps and drizzle with glaze.
