  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries Can substitute with frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Can substitute with lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Simple Syrup Can use sugar-free sweetener
For the Fizz
  • Sprite (or Lemon-Lime Soda) Use diet or caffeine-free if preferred
For Serving
  • ½ cup Ice Cubes Crushed ice can also be used
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (Optional) For garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse and hull 1 cup of fresh strawberries, then puree half in a blender until smooth.
  2. In a large glass or pitcher, combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup; stir well.
  3. Add the strawberry puree to the lemon-sweetened mixture and stir gently until fully incorporated.
  4. Fill serving glasses with about ½ cup of ice cubes to chill the mocktail.
  5. Pour cold Sprite or lemon-lime soda into each glass, filling them about three-quarters full; stir gently.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or sliced strawberries before serving immediately.
