Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and mix in pureed strawberries, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, avoiding overmixing.
  5. Fill each donut mold about ¾ full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth, adding food coloring if desired.
  9. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and set them back on the wire rack.
