- Melt the chocolate by placing 1 cup of white chocolate and 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Assemble the marshmallow base by dipping the bottom of a large marshmallow into melted chocolate and pressing it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Stack two more marshmallows on top using the chocolate as glue.
