Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites on medium speed until foamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add sugar while beating on high until mixture is glossy with stiff peaks, around 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract and almond extract if desired.
  6. Transfer meringue to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
  7. Pipe small circles (1.5 inches) for the bodies and smaller circles (1 inch) for the heads.
  8. Bake for about 2 hours until completely dry and easily lift off the parchment.
  9. Turn off the oven and let cool inside for one hour.
  10. Stack smaller meringues on top of larger ones to create snowmen.
  11. Use melted chocolate to attach mini chocolate chips and orange candy.
  12. Add mini marshmallows and sprinkle with colored sprinkles or edible glitter.
  13. Arrange on a festive platter for serving.
