  3. Add 2 oz of gin, 1 oz of elderflower liqueur, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and the cooled simple syrup into the shaker.
  4. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
