Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Dates: Place the pitted Medjool dates in a food processor and pulse until smooth, resembling a thick caramel.
  2. Blend the Mixture: Add gluten-free rolled oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and peanuts to the processor, blend until well combined.
  3. Roll into Balls: Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls, aiming for around 16 evenly sized balls.
  4. Add Candy Eyeballs: Press two candy eyeballs into the top of each ball.
  5. Cut the Licorice for Decorations: Slice licorice bars into thin strips for legs and wings.
  6. Attach Licorice Pieces: Press licorice strips into the energy balls as decoration.
  7. Chill and Set: Arrange balls on a tray and chill in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
