Ingredients

  • 1 stick Celery Cut into pieces for pumpkin stems.
  • 4 Clementines Peel for pumpkin decoration.
  • 6 pieces Sweet mini peppers For decorating.
For the Sweet Treats
  • 1 cup Icing sugar For decoration.
  • 2 tablespoon Cold water To mix with icing sugar.
  • 1 cup Edible sugar eyeballs For decorating mini peppers.
  • 2 cups Cantaloupe melon Cut into cubes.
  • 1 cup Black grapes For skewers.
  • 1 cup White marshmallows For ghost designs.
  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chips For decorating marshmallows.
For the Fun Dippers
  • 4 slices White bread For ghost sandwiches.
  • 1 cup Simple filling of choice Ham or cheese.
  • 1 cup Black olives Sliced for garnish.
  • 2 apples Green or red For apple mouths.
  • 1 cup Smooth thick peanut butter For apple slices.
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows For decoration on apple slices.
  • 1 cup Halloween chocolates or sweets For decoration.
  • Optional: plastic spiders For decoration.

Method
 

Prepare the Snack Board
  1. Slice the celery stick lengthways into four equal sticks, then cut into 1½ to 2-inch pieces. Peel clementines and insert celery into the top as stems. Wrap in clingfilm and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine icing sugar with cold water until smooth. Transfer to piping bag and set aside.
  3. Arrange mini peppers on a plate, pipe icing dots on each, and add sugar eyeballs. Chill for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut cantaloupe in half, scoop out seeds, and chop into cubes. Thread cantaloupe, black grapes, and marshmallows on skewers. Melt chocolate and decorate marshmallows.
  5. Use a ghost-shaped cutter on white bread to create sandwiches. Refrigerate to keep fresh.
  6. Peel bananas and cut into pieces. Melt chocolate and draw faces on each piece. Chill until set.
  7. Slice apples into 1 cm thick pieces. Spread peanut butter on one side, add mini marshmallows for teeth, and stack another apple slice on top.
  8. Assemble all chilled items on a large platter, adding optional plastic spiders for decoration.
