  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Ground flaxseed optional but recommended
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Fresh berries mix of blueberries, raspberries, and chopped strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons Dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs, 70% cocoa or higher
  • 2 tablespoons Granola low-sugar or homemade
  • a pinch Cinnamon
  • a pinch Sea salt

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, almond or peanut butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. If desired, add honey or maple syrup to the mixture and adjust to taste.
  3. Incorporate chia seeds and ground flaxseed into the yogurt mixture, stirring thoroughly.
  4. Let the yogurt mixture rest for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Prepare your fresh berries by rinsing and patting them dry, chopping strawberries if necessary.
  6. Stir the yogurt mixture again and adjust sweetness if needed before layering in a bowl.
  7. Layer the yogurt mixture into a serving bowl or glass.
  8. Top with fresh berries, followed by dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs.
  9. Add granola on top for crunch, followed by a sprinkle of sea salt or cinnamon if desired.
