Preparation
- Pour 3 cups of chicken broth into a 4-6 quart crockpot. Add frozen Mrs. T's Cheddar Pierogies and sliced kielbasa evenly over the broth. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top, then gently stir to combine.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours, avoiding lifting the lid during cooking.
- About 30 minutes before cooking time is up, cut cream cheese into cubes and combine in a small saucepan with a bit of broth. Stir over low heat until smooth and creamy, around 5-7 minutes.
- Once cooking time is up, pour the creamy mixture into the crockpot and gently fold with a spatula. Top with 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cook on low for an additional 30 minutes to meld flavors. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
