Steps to Create Apple Pie Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour with ¼ teaspoon of salt.
  3. Cream together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and ½ cup of granulated sugar until fluffy. Add in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed butter and sugar until a crumbly dough forms.
  5. Press about two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the baking dish.
