- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy focaccia.
- Slice the focaccia bread horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
- Drizzle both halves with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the bottom half on a baking sheet, and spread burrata cheese evenly.
- Layer slices of heirloom tomato over the burrata.
- Add fresh basil leaves on top of the tomato slices.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the layers.
- Close the sandwich with the top half of the focaccia, pressing lightly.
- Bake in the oven for about 5-10 minutes until warmed and slightly crispy.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
