Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy focaccia.
  2. Slice the focaccia bread horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
  3. Drizzle both halves with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet, and spread burrata cheese evenly.
  5. Layer slices of heirloom tomato over the burrata.
  6. Add fresh basil leaves on top of the tomato slices.
  7. Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the layers.
  8. Close the sandwich with the top half of the focaccia, pressing lightly.
  9. Bake in the oven for about 5-10 minutes until warmed and slightly crispy.
  10. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
