Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Warm the plant-based milk in the microwave until warm.
  2. Combine strong white flour, dried yeast, soft brown sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour warmed plant-based milk and olive oil into the bowl and stir to make a dough.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let the dough prove in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Prepare a baking tin by lining it with baking paper.
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  8. Spread soft brown sugar, cinnamon, and apple filling evenly across the dough.
  9. Roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other.
  10. Slice the roll into pieces about 1.5 – 2 inches thick and place in the baking tin.
  11. Cover the tin and let the rolls prove for another 45 minutes.
  12. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  13. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted vegan butter.
  14. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  15. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before serving.
