Step-by-Step Instructions for Buttery Cheese Garlic Rolls
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually pour in warm water and melted butter. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for approximately 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough, divide it into 12 pieces, and flatten each piece slightly.
- Place mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough piece, fold edges over to seal, and place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish and allow rolls to rise for an additional 30 minutes until puffy.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic, chopped parsley, and optional garlic powder; mix until combined.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush the tops of each roll with warm garlic butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Allow rolls to cool slightly before serving warm.
