  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. Cream unsalted butter and cream cheese together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until smooth and pale, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt together, then gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
