Method
 

Noodle Preparation
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water, add the noodles, and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and cool.
Meat Sauce Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onions are softened.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and parsley. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Cheese Mixture Preparation
  1. Combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, beaten egg, and parsley in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Baking Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture in a baking dish until all ingredients are used.
  3. Finish with a layer of meat sauce topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden.
