Ingredients

  • 1 package Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • 8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese cubed
  • 1 cup Pepperoni Slices
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Method

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400ºF (200ºC). While the oven heats up, grab a muffin pan and generously spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Next, take your mozzarella cheese and cut it into small cubes.
  3. Now, it’s time to prepare your pizza dough. Cut the refrigerated pizza dough into 12 equal squares, about 4 inches each.
  4. On each square of dough, add a generous spoonful of pizza sauce, a couple of pepperoni slices, and one of your cubed mozzarella cheese pieces.
  5. Next, carefully fold the edges of each dough square over the filling to create a bundle.
  6. Slide the muffin pan into your preheated oven and bake the pizza bombs for about 15-18 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  7. While the pizza bombs bake, melt your butter in a small bowl and whisk in the Italian seasoning.

Notes

  • Muffin Pan Matters: Using a muffin pan ensures a uniform shape and even baking.
  • Perfect Portioning: Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes for optimal melting.
  • Filling Balance: Don’t overfill your dough squares!
  • Seal it Well: Pinch the edges tightly to prevent any filling from oozing out while baking.
  • Flavor Boosts: Mix extra Italian seasoning or spices into your filling.
