  5. If the dough is crumbly, add water or milk a tablespoon at a time until the right consistency is reached.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and any optional mix-ins, ensuring even distribution.
  7. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes to firm up.
  8. Use a scoop to portion the dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared sheet.
  9. Refrigerate the rolled protein balls for at least 30 minutes to set.
