Method

  3. Pour in 4 cups of vegetable or chicken broth, bringing it to a simmer (3-4 minutes).
  4. Once simmering, add 8 ounces of your chosen pasta to the pan and stir well.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions (8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  6. Once tender and most broth absorbed, reduce heat to low.
  7. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and optionally stir in chopped fresh parsley.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and parsley.
