Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat the skillet by adding 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced smoked sausage and sauté for 5-7 minutes until rich and golden.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and cook for about 2 minutes until translucent.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add sliced cabbage and red bell pepper, stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until softened but still crisp.
  6. Return the browned sausage to the skillet and toss everything together.
  7. Pour in soy sauce, sesame oil, and sprinkle with black pepper, adjusting salt to taste. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
