- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Generously rub the beef ribs with chipotle powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the seasoned ribs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and cumin. Stir until smooth.
- Transfer seared ribs to a roasting pan, cover with tomato sauce mixture, and space apart for even cooking.
- Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 3 to 4 hours.
- Remove foil and broil ribs for 10-15 minutes for a caramelized glaze.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
