  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger finely grated
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions thinly sliced
  • Toasted sesame seeds optional
  • 2 wedge Lemon wedges

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together the white miso paste, mirin, sake, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and ginger until smooth.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the mixture in a shallow dish or resealable bag for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the broiler in your oven to high and position the rack 6 inches from the heat source.
  4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the marinated salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Broil the salmon for 8-10 minutes, monitoring for a caramelized crust.
  7. Garnish the cooked salmon with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
