- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - In a medium-sized bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, and sesame oil. Whisk until smooth.
 - Put chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
 - Refrigerate the remaining marinade for later use in basting.
 - Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
 - Place the marinated chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
 - In a saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes to thicken it.
 - Brush the thickened marinade over the baked chicken.
 - Broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes while watching closely for charring.
 - Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
 - Slice and serve warm, pairing with steamed rice or vegetables.

Notes
For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken thighs for juiciness. Marinating overnight enhances flavor. Serve with sides for a complete meal.
