- Melt 6 tablespoons of butter over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes in a large skillet.
- Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add 1 pound of scallops to the skillet in a single layer and let them cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Carefully flip the scallops and add 4 ounces of shrimp, cooking everything for another 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and stir gently to combine.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
