- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Add egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, aiming for 20 to 24 meatballs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together bourbon, apple butter, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Place meatballs in the slow cooker and pour the bourbon apple butter sauce over them.

- Transfer meatballs to a serving platter and drizzle additional sauce over them.
