Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion, diced carrots, and diced celery for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Mix in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened, then remove from heat.
  5. Whisk together flour, milk, eggs, and salt in a mixing bowl, and let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Melt butter in a muffin tin in the oven until bubbling.
  8. Pour batter into muffin cups halfway, then add meat filling on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
