Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the diced onion and garlic, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the seafood stock or chicken stock and bring to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream, frozen vegetables, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper, and stir well.
- Fold in the shrimp and lobster meat, then stir in the cheddar cheese.
- Pour the seafood mixture into a baking dish or ramekins.
- Cut the biscuit dough in half and arrange it over the top of the seafood mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
