Preparation Steps
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangular sections.
- Take about 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling and place it in the center of each dough triangle. Fold and pinch the edges to secure.
- Brush melted unsalted butter over each dough ball and roll them in a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Place the coated dough balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry the dough balls for 7-9 minutes, checking at 7 minutes. They should be golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the bombs from the basket and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
