Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of sea salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of room-temperature unsalted butter, ¾ cup of granulated sugar, and ¾ cup of packed brown sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, then mix in 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips into the dough.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
